Hammer Focus is a focus and app-blocking application designed to help users reduce distractions during study, meditation, and custom focus sessions. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information We Use

Hammer Focus may use the following information on your device:

• Installed app names and package names, so you can choose Study allowed apps and Custom blocked apps.
• Foreground app detection during an active focus session, so the app can decide whether to show the lock screen.
• Emergency contact names and phone numbers that you choose to add for Study mode call exceptions.
• Focus settings, selected apps, session status, and premium/free-plan settings.

How Information Is Used

Hammer Focus uses this information only to provide app-blocking and focus-session features, including:

• Allowing or blocking selected apps during a focus session.
• Showing a lock screen over blocked apps.
• Managing Study, Meditation, and Custom Lock modes.
• Allowing selected emergency contacts to ring during Study mode.
• Saving your settings locally so your choices remain available next time.

Local Storage

App selections, emergency contacts, and focus settings are stored locally on your device. Hammer Focus does not sell this information and does not use it for advertising profiling.

Permissions

Hammer Focus may request these permissions to provide its core features:

• Usage Access: Used during active focus sessions to detect which app is currently open.
• Display over other apps: Used to show the Hammer Focus lock screen over blocked apps.
• Accessibility Service: Used only to detect app changes and support app blocking. Hammer Focus does not read screen text, capture passwords, send messages, make purchases, or collect Accessibility data.
• Do Not Disturb access: Used to silence notifications during focus sessions and restore settings afterward where supported.
• Call Screening: Used during Study mode to help block calls except selected emergency contacts. Hammer Focus does not record or store call audio.
• Notification permission: Used to show focus-session status and service notifications.

Advertising

Hammer Focus may show rewarded ads through Google AdMob for free users. AdMob may collect and process data as described in Google's own privacy policies. Rewarded ads are shown only when the user chooses to watch an ad for a reward or free-session feature.

Purchases

Hammer Focus may offer premium features through Google Play Billing. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Hammer Focus does not receive or store your full payment card details.

Data Sharing

Hammer Focus does not sell your personal information. The app may share limited information with service providers required for app functionality, such as Google AdMob for ads and Google Play for purchases, according to their policies.

Children

Hammer Focus is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
